  • Exchange for Healthy Companions

This weekend insightout had a nice treat.  For the first time we had a previously placed puppy come back for a visit and her family convert their companions to insightout’s raw meat diet.

Jamie & Stacey Gillis brought Taylor with them from Arlington Saturday for a raw meat grinding party at insightout, an enjoyable party indeed.  The sampling of several different beer choices and cookie choices from Collin Street Bakery made short work of the chore of grinding, mixing and packaging 120 lbs of raw meat, Force and jack mackerel in accordance with insightout’s Foundation Food Recipe.

After the work was done, the mess cleaned up and the meat loaded for transit we enjoyed a great visit.   We decided we would take the best from the city and the best from the country and pull our resources together to form a co-op of sorts.  Jamie & Stacey could not secure a raw meat bulk source in the city, which is available in our area, but they can easily get Force, tripe and other items we have to mail order & have delivered in the country.

The teamwork makes for more healthy puppies!

Anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and the East Texas area that would like to participate in the city/country exchange can contact us through this blog post.  New ideas & suggestions are  always welcome.
